The final results have finally been tabulated (sorry for the delay!), and Ray Duperron of Edmonton, AB is once again the Canadian Brewer of the Year, after successfully defending his Alexandra Cup title he claimed last year. Ray won handily this year with 78 points but Eric Johnson of Vancouver, BC put in a very respectable 2nd place showing with 58 points. Rick August of Regina, SK rounded out the top 3 with 51 points. Congratulations to our winners, and a tip of the hat to the fourteen (!!!) homebrewers who accumulated 20+ points this year! Homebrewing in Canada is strong thanks to everyone who participated in the circuit this year.
The top club was once again the Edmonton Homebrewers' Guild, with the VanBrewers coming out of nowhere to claim 2nd place. The Cowtown Yeast Wranglers - barely - stole 3rd place away from the Ale and Lager Enthusiasts of Saskatchewan.
